Today, on Tuesday morning (1392/7/9), the Mayor of Qom along with the members of City Council met with Ayatollah Hashemi e Shahrudi.

His highness Ayatollah Hashemi e Shahrudi after giving welcome to the Mayor and the presidency and the members of Islamic Council of Qom City, by mentioning thevaluableservices ofmunicipality in the previous term, stated thataccomplishing the unfinished projectssuch as the project of the Monorail and the airport of Qom are the main priority of providing service in the present term.

His Excellency stressed on the necessity of introducing the Imam Zadigan (thedeceased descendants of Imams) and the old mosques and the holy shrines which are located in the city of Qom and publicizing theups and downs of its history to the Islamic world and regarded them as an effective factor in attracting Islamic tourism anda development for this industry and also asked for commitment on this matter.

The Mayor of Qom, in this meeting which was held at the beginning days of his second term of presidency, mentioned some priorities of hismunicipality in his new term and submitting a report about the services which were offered in his previous term, emphasized the developmentand the optimization ofgiving services to the city of Lady Fatimah Masumah (as) in the present term and requested an effective coordination between municipality and the other municipal organizations for achieving these goals.
