Ayatallah Hashemi Shahrudi insists on implementing great water system plans in country in order to provide water for different towns. 

He points to immediate country development and requiring water to fulfill it in his visit with Minister of power this afternoon (2014/06/05) and declares although operating limited water system plans are influential in short-range but Ministry of power should seriously pursue great plans to supply water from Persian Gulf and Oman sea.

He reminds in few years later water crisis would be more serious that oil one therefore deep accurate  water system study must be considered now, then the country won’t faces water scarcity  in future. Of course this requires authority effort.

The prominent member of System Expediency Identification Associationremarks these plans consequences and adds besides supply water for several cities, performing these plans helps in changing the country climate and preparing requirements for developing industry and agriculture.

Chitchian also along with explaining about water system in country informs of rainfall decrease to 47 percent in 15 provinces and says: this due to rainfall decrease, its amount and climate change.

He expresses of the Environmental Protection Agency disagreement with transferring water from the Caspian Sea to central cities and says: on account of high salt density after sea water desalination and causing problems for the aquatics, this plan is not practical.

Nevertheless, Chitchian reports of the Ministry of power investments in transferring water from Persian Gulf and Oman Sea. He also says problems in provinces like Kerman, Fars, Yazd and Seestan and Baluchestan will be solved by water transition from those areas.
