Haider al-Abadi, the Prime Minister of Iraq met with the Grand Ayatollah Hashemi Shahroudi (DummettBrkath)

 

In this meeting the Grand Ayatollah Shahroudi expressed his pleasure for the selection of Haider al-Abadi as Prime Minister of Iraq, and says that this will be a milestone in solving the problems of Iraq; such as the unity of the people as well as the government.

He referred to the crises that excommunicating groups and Daish (also known as ISIL/ISIS in America and stands for “Islamic State of Iraq and Levant”) has created problems in the region, especially in Iraq. He said coordination and unity of both sects is necessary,whether it isa Sunni or a Shia, they are needed to achieve victory and to eliminate the plans of Daish(ISIL) and Takfiri groups. He considered the unity of political movements as an important tool in this sensitive juncture as well as the use of administrative and management experiences from the previous government for further reinforcement against problems. At the end Ayatollah Hashemi Shahroudi stressed that finally victory is great people of Iraq. He prayed to God for the success of the people and the government of Iraq.

Haider al-Abadi gave a brief report on the circumstances of Iraq, conspiracies of Daish (ISIL), and government actions to deal with the problem. He emphasized that Daish is not only a threat against the security and territorial stability, but it is a threat against the Islamic world.

He said ethnic and religious strife, especially between Shia and Sunnis;split the induced current as the United States of America was behind the curtain.

The Board of Directors of the General Assembly of Qom Seminary Teachers meeting with Ayatollah HashemiShahroudi dialogue.

Ayatollah HashemiShahroudi: The General Assembly of the teachers strengthens the position if this entity among the people.

Ayatollah HashemiShahroudi: Formation of the General Assembly of Qom Seminary Teachers is a plus, because it strengthens its position among people. The General Assembly of the Seminary Teachers of Qom is a precious and important step for the system and spirituality. In addition, in terms of reliability there is no replacement for this association; therefore, it is necessary to strengthen it.

Ayatollah HashemiShahroudi: He considered the emphasis of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic revolution depends on the necessity of the evolution in the society of teachers and ensured that the General Assembly of teachers is a significant step towards evolution, and it will strengthen its position among people.

Vice Chairman of the Assembly of Experts emphasized on the acquisition of the association in such a way that all Seminaries should consider this in the syllabus of seminaries. In addition he said that Grand Ayatollahs must support it and coordination with the dean of the seminary is an important factor in the success of this association.

Ayatollah Shahroudi: Detailed plans to fill in the gaps of the needs of today, seminaries,and universities- inside and outside the country is an important factor in the success of the Society of Teachers. He reiterated that programs of the General Assembly and its way of working in the fields of education, promotion, and similar fields like this must be fully specified in order to move in the right direction.

 

A distinguished Professor of the Qom Seminar considered this as the best seminary in the Shia world and pointed out that there is a large gap to fill the area of interest, essentially the management of seminars should develop the programs specifically and as a result the Association of teachers will be able to move in harmony.At the beginning of this meeting Hujjatul Islam FarukhFaal, board member of the General Assembly of Teachers Society and manager of the seminars of Qom stated that this association is formed to attract high level teachers in Seminary and up till now it has 327 members. He said this association consists of eleven committees; which are education, preaching, and other similar committees. These were made to support high level teachers of seminary and to send them to different parts of the country.
