Hazrat Ayatollah Al-Uzma Hashemi Shahroodi emphasised for the comprehensive and necessity and the complete planning for the growth and development of the province of Qom.

He within the meeting with the governor of Qom which took place on the Saturday 3rd September 2015 started by complementing the city stating this city is the mother of the Quran of the spiritual and the intellectual Islamic world. The sanctuary of the holy household and the cradle of the Islamic revolution then continued by describing it even further and said: with attention these are unique characteristics for every person. We need a comprehensive plan for the growth and development of this province.

Hazrat Ayatollah Al-Uzma Hashemi Shahroodi mentioned that the supreme leader of the Islamic republic gave special attention to this city and towards those high-ranking officials due to their efforts of improvement in Qom. He acknowledged that it is the best opportunity for adding more and more attention to the city of Qom and added: In addition to provide a comprehensive plan for the province regarding this it is a good legal agenda and implementation until the city of Qom according to a scheduled timetable within alimited amount of time reaches its original position and an International platform.

A prominent member of the assembly confirmed the system recognition. In this plan all the necessities of Qom such as economic and cultural dimensions whilst considering the views of the experts in these fields.

Hazrat Ayatollah Al-Uzma Hashemi Shahroodi mentioned that serving the holy city of Qom has many rewards may that be glory or honour in this word or the hereafter for specialists who knew. He pointed out the problem of the water supply in Qom and mentioned the new modern way of water Irrigation for solving this difficulty.

Mr. Sadeqi the governor of Qom during the meeting in addition expressed his appreciations and thanked Ayatollah Al-Uzma Hashemi Shahroodi for his deep explanation and said: whilst paying attention to some obstacle and problems in Qom, we are in need of special authorization so that we can act with speed and achieve results.

The governor stated a report and allocated the designation of a 100% of the reputation of the Supreme Leaders visit to Qom in the year 2000 and continued: we are still pursuing all projects which are approved in that visit and the visit of the president of the Islamic Republic last year until a significant portion of the difficulties are resolved.

 He continued and said the shortage of raining in the city of Qom and hence on its reducing year by year he pointed out there should be water pipes underground and said this problem is a necessity and needs to be solved for the use of improved water and modifying the usage patterns of the farmers is a must.
