In the name of Allah the most beneficent and merciful

وَ لاٰ تَقْفُ مٰا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ إِنَّ اَلسَّمْعَ وَ اَلْبَصَرَ وَ اَلْفُؤٰادَ كُلُّ أُولٰئِكَ كٰانَ عَنْهُ مَسْؤُلاً

﴿الإسراء، 36﴾

And follow not that of which you have not the knowledge; surely the hearing and the sight and the heart, all of these, shall be questioned about that.

There is no doubt that expansion of mass media especially in virtual fields despite of matchless opportunities, it has created challenges and threats for public thoughts and human societies and the main cause for threats should be searched in non-commitment and undevout of a few media groups. The same who confuse the public thoughts by publishing images out of place and connecting fake news with legal or real personalities and wished or unwished, publish untruths especially by presenting illogical and deviational analyses.

Office of Grand Ayatollah Hashemi Shahroudi whilst condemn nonprofessional act of some media for misuse of an image; which has been designed and printed for use in personnel of Grand Ayatollah’s office, and consider the publishing of this image in virtual field, contrary to media’s responsibilities. Furthermore presenting improper and wrong analyses and groundless blames to Office of his honour, by some others is considered below of his human and spiritual position, so notice the legal and judicial consequences of this type of statements.
